We had a wonderful time at Beso Del Sol. The staff was so accommodating and assisted us with everything we had questions with. The back deck is beautiful with a spectacular water view. The only problem we had was we had a few water bugs in our room one day, but as soon as we mentioned it to the staff, they came and sprayed and we had no further problems. Our accomidations were very comfortable and included everything. The location was great for biking the Pinellas trail. About 7 miles north is the sponge harbor town of Tarpon Springs, to the south is Clear Water with great beaches. The quaint town of Dunedin was also a nice place to shop, and stroll. This was our first vacation with GDV, and it was an extremely pleasant experience. First of all, the resort location-about half-way between the beach and the charming, artsy town of Dunedin-was perfect. The office staff was helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed having bicycles available for free use as well as 2 beautiful pools and a hot tub. Just wanted to let you know how impressed we were with our stay last month at BESO DEL SOL. We stayed one night and wanted to stay longer but didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival at you property I could tell you take pride in your resort. As a property manager myself for many nice commercial and residentials, I can relate to how a place looks can indicate what kind of management runs a place. We found this resort last year and booked several rooms for our wedding weekend. What a great decision that turned out to be… we ALL absolutely loved it! It is in the perfect spot in Dunedin, right on the water and within minutes from Honeymoon and Caladesi Islands. The size of this resort makes it intimate and a great place to go for a nice romantic getaway, but also for the family that wants to go somewhere away from all the noise and traffic. We recently just returned for our second visit to celebrate our one year anniversary on Valentine's Day, and this time just as the last, we stayed in the waterview studio. This room is gorgeous and the breathtaking view will leave you speechless. The room is very spacious and has great decor, it offers everything you would need to live there. There are French doors that open up to your private balcony, where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful sunset right over the water and wake up to the peaceful sounds of the ocean. I can not say enough about this place! They even have a Tiki Bar, two heated pools, Jacuzzi, decks with boat slips, tons of space and chairs for relaxing by the pool / water, bike rentals and more. During this visit, Sadie helped us and was just awesome! She made sure we had everything that we needed and more, and made sure our visit was perfect and special. We are planning on making this an annual vacation spot for our anniversary. If you are planning a trip to Dunedin, this is the best place in the whole city to stay. This resort is super cute. The furnishings are excellent. We got a water view studio and the view was incredible. I loved waking up each morning to the sun on the water. The area! Downtown Dunedin is the cutest place you ever did see. And the beaches are really close with powdery white sand you can curl your toes in. I found tons of really neat seashells at Caladesi Island. Beso Del Sol Resort in Dunedin FL. was very nice. We had unit #417 which was a two-bedroom and it was beautiful. We brought two other families with us, they had their own units and loved them as well. We are booked for next year already.
